Privacy Policy

feels! ("we", "us", "the app") is operated by Feels Labs. This privacy policy explains what data the app collects, how it's used, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

Location data. With your permission, feels! accesses your device's location to fetch local weather forecasts. Location data is sent to Open-Meteo (our weather data provider) to retrieve weather information. We do not store your location on our servers. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.

Locally stored data. feels! stores the following on your device only:

Saved locations you've added
Your selected voice preference
A local journal of past weather snapshots
Settings you've configured (e.g. body temperature preference)
First-launch flags and onboarding state

This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Advertising data (free version only). The free version of feels! displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

Device identifiers (advertising ID)
Approximate location (for ad relevance)
Device type and operating system
Aggregated app usage

On iOS devices running iOS 14.5 or later, feels! will request your permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt before any personalized advertising is served. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

Subscription data. If you purchase a premium subscription or lifetime license, payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a confirmation of purchase but never see your payment details. Apple and Google's privacy policies apply to your purchase data.

2. What we do not collect

feels! does NOT collect:

Your name, email, phone number, or any account information (the app has no user accounts)
Your contacts, photos, or files
Browsing history or activity outside the app
Biometric data
Microphone or camera data

We have no servers that store identifiable user data.

3. Children's privacy

feels! is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us and we will assist.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell user data. We do not share user data with third parties except:

Open-Meteo, to fetch weather forecasts for your location
Google AdMob, to serve ads in the free version
Apple App Store / Google Play, to process subscription purchases

5. Your rights

You can:

Revoke location permission in device settings
Decline personalized advertising via the App Tracking Transparency prompt (iOS) or device ad settings (Android)
Delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app
Cancel your subscription through App Store / Play Store

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be reflected in the app's "About" section and in this document. The "Last updated" date at the top will change.
